What We Ran at Booth W2-D08
SIGN CHINA 2026 was the 28th edition of the show and ran September 15–17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Pudong, co-located with LED CHINA, the digital printing show and the digital signage show — four events under one roof, organised by Wenxin Exhibition. Hall W2 is where the cutting and engraving equipment sits, and that is where our stand was: booth W2-D08, shared with printing equipment brand AILYGROUP.
We brought one machine and ran it hard rather than parking a row of static tables: the C2516T digital cutting table, 2500 × 1600 mm working area, fed continuously by its belt conveyor. It contour-cut printed graphic sheets on the stand — printed character panels and POP display cut-outs — with the CCD camera reading registration marks so the cut followed the print instead of the file. Corrugated and rigid board samples sat on the same table, cut with the knife tools, next to sign parts the milling spindle handles.

C2516T contour-cutting printed graphics
The demo visitors stopped for: printed sheets pulled onto the table by belt conveyor, the CCD camera reading the registration marks, and the knife following the printed outline of each character panel. Because the camera measures the print rather than trusting the file, the cut stays on the line even when the sheet has stretched on the printer — which is where sign shops usually lose material on long runs.
Buyers cutting their own samples
Overseas buyers came to the stand to see the machine cut, and the samples on the table — printed board, corrugated, PVC foam board and display pieces — went home with them. Sample cutting is the fastest honest test of a machine: if it holds the material flat and holds the contour, you see it in one pass at the booth rather than in a spec sheet.

The C2516T is the machine we ran at W2-D08: a 2500 × 1600 mm flatbed with vacuum hold-down and belt conveyor feeding, so a printed run longer than the table keeps cutting without an operator repositioning material. Its head carries an electric oscillating knife, a drag knife and a milling spindle (800 W / 1.8 kW / 4 kW) as standard, which is why one table handles printed board and POP work as well as acrylic, ACP and foam board sign parts. Because the directory lists the legal entity, not the brand. We were registered as CHAOHAN INTELLIGENT EQUIPMENT CO., LTD (杭州超翰智能装备有限公司) at booth W2 D08. Hangzhou Chaohan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd was founded in 2010 and owns the MNT and MEINAITE trademarks; every machine on the stand carried the MEINAITE badge.
Which materials did the machine cut on the stand?
Printed graphic sheets and POP display cut-outs contour-cut to the print, plus corrugated and cardboard, PVC foam board and rigid board samples brought by visitors. Across the wider tool range the same table also handles acrylic and ACP (milling spindle), self-adhesive vinyl, textile and soft signage media, gasket and foam sheet — the tool fitted decides the material, so send us your material and thickness and we will confirm before quoting.
I missed the show — can I still get a sample cut?
Yes. Send us your file and a piece of your production material and we will run the same cut in the Hangzhou factory that we ran at W2-D08, then ship you the finished part with a short video of the cut. Oversized material can be matched from our own stock if shipping it is impractical.
Can I visit the factory instead of a show?
Yes, and it is the better test. Our Hangzhou plant is about an hour from Shanghai by high-speed rail and holds machines in build and test, so you can see the model you are considering being assembled, run your own material on it and take the parts away — none of which fits in a three-day booth. Tell us when you can travel and we will set the visit up.
Do you work with overseas distributors and agents?
