ATC Engraving Processing Center

T6 ATC Engraving Processing Center

The MNT T6 is an engraving processing center that adds an automatic tool changer to MNT’s rigid, stress-relieved router platform. A 4-tool linear ATC and a high-power ATC spindle let it run multi-tool jobs without stopping to change cutters — for engraving, milling and cutting across a wide material range.

At a Glance

The MNT T6 is an ATC engraving processing center on a welded, stress-relieved bed finish-machined in one setup. A 4-tool linear automatic tool changer and a 9 kW air-cooled (or 7.5/11 kW water-cooled) ATC spindle, run by a Weihong 280 controller, handle multi-tool jobs unattended on a 1300×2500 mm table — cutting wood, acrylic, ACP, stone, nylon, plasterboard, fibreglass and more.

Standard Configuration

The T6 ships in a 1300×2500 mm working area as standard, with a choice of 9 kW air-cooled or 7.5/11 kW water-cooled ATC spindle. Custom sizes are available on request.

Engineering

Why an ATC Changes What a Router Can Do

Most engraving jobs need more than one tool — a roughing bit, a finishing bit, a drill, a profiling cutter. On a manual router the operator stops the job to swap each one, which costs time and reintroduces positioning error every change. The T6’s 4-tool linear automatic tool changer removes that: the program calls each tool in sequence and the machine swaps it in seconds, so multi-stage jobs run start-to-finish unattended.

That only works if the platform underneath is rigid enough to trust between tool changes. The T6 uses the same welded, quenched and stress-relieved bed finish-machined in a single gantry-mill setup as MNT’s precision routers, so the datum stays constant across every tool call. A high-power ATC spindle — 9 kW air-cooled or up to 11 kW water-cooled — gives the torque headroom to move from light engraving to heavier milling within one program.

Driven by a Weihong 280 industrial controller and servo motors on all axes, the T6 behaves like a small machining center: load the stock, run the program, collect finished parts.

FAQ

T6 — Frequently Asked Questions

How is the T6 Different from the T5?

The T6 adds a 4-tool linear automatic tool changer and a high-power ATC spindle to the same rigid bed, so multi-tool jobs run unattended. The T5 is a single-spindle precision router.

How Many Tools Does the ATC Hold?

A 4-tool linear-type automatic tool changer is standard.

What Spindle Options Are Available?

A 9 kW air-cooled ATC spindle, or 7.5 / 11 kW water-cooled, depending on your materials.

What Materials Can the T6 Process?

Wood, acrylic, ABS, PVC, ACP and also harder materials such as stone, nylon, plasterboard and fibreglass.

What Power Supply Does It Need?

AC 380V / 50Hz / 3-phase. Other voltages may be available on request.
